I was reading in Psalm 29 and was amazed at all the powerful things the voice of the Lord can do. There is just something about revelation, that knocks you off your feet. Praise God, I love it!
The Lord is over many waters.
(Have you ever considered the size of ocean... it's Big!)
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness.
The voice of the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
The voice of the Lord is so powerful. I don't think we really understand the magnitude of its strength. In the midst of all these great and mighty things that voice of the Lord can do, I believe that one of the most powerful things is it can speak to our hearts. Somehow it presses pass the anger, hurt, depression, jealousy, unforgiveness, pain, grief, and selfishness. And when His voice finally penitrates our hearts; our very being, He begins to sing in a whisper.
Do not, I repeat do not under estimate the whisper! This whisper has brought kings to their knees, murderers to repentance, and comforted the lonely.
God not only speaks, He also listens. "Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!" Psalm 28:6
He hears you. He has a plan. Now, TRUST HIM!!!
